Geo Hound, Grafham, Cambridgeshire.

We’d solved all the puzzles and had all the completed co-ordinates, so after setting off early we found each other and some suitable (free) parking.

The walk was long (over ten miles) but very enjoyable as it circled all the way round Grafham Water and across a site of special scientific interest (featuring a 280 acre nature reserve which is home to ancient woodland, reed beds and is an important home for populations of birds and amphibians).

We found all 71 caches in this series, including one which had several previous DNFs – this one required a long search by both of us, a blood sacrifice from ‘The Man’ and a chunk of hair from myself. The resulting Geo art is a nice feature on our caching maps though so it was all totally worth it.
